AUCTION 101
The annual St. Peter's auction is the PTA's largest fundraiser, raising money for a wide variety of school events and teacher support efforts. Many STP parents are seasoned professionals at the annual auction, but the information here should help explain the process & bidding options.
To participate in the auction, every parent/family must create an account within OneCause (aka: "Bidpal") - the software/website that hosts our auction. Once you have an account, you can link a credit card and participate in any part of the auction. Shannon Austin is our resident auction expert and can answer any questions you may have - please reach out!
LIVE AUCTION
From vacation houses to signed sports memorabilia, from private dinners and one-of-a-kind class art, this live auction is packed with amazing & unique items.
Upon entry to the event, your name and OneCause account will be assigned to a paddle number. During the live auction, attendees will bid against each other to win the item up for auction. If you want to bid on the item, simply raise your paddle to place your bid! Be sure the auction team sees your paddle!
If you win - all sales are final.
SILENT AUCTION
Our silent auction goes live about a week or two ahead of the auction evening on March 7th. From family donations to local business donations, physical items and gift cards...we've got it all!
The silent auction will close during the auction event (time TBA), when the silent auction closes, the top bidder wins!
It's always fun to watch the friendly (and not-so-friendly) competition for these items. Items you've won can be picked Sunday at the school- details to come on this.
